Associate Security Officer
About the role
The Security Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring parking, building access, visitor screening, badging, and adherence to visitor policy for Kadlec. Specialists provide visitor management and monitoring of entrances using in-person checkpoint screening and video surveillance systems. The Specialist performs dispatch duties, visitor management, and general tasks in support of Security Services and Emergency Management. In addition, the Specialist may be cross trained to utilize security technology such as radios, visitor management software, security camera surveillance or other detection applications to prevent workplace violence. Serves as the first point of contact at hospital entrances and provides exceptional customer service and visitor experience.
Shift details
Part time, Variable Shift, 32 working hours weekly
Required qualifications
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
Preferred qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- 1 year Experience in healthcare, public relations customer service setting, or security related field.

Pay
$18.82 - $28.20 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
