Associate Scientist- Oral Formulations (Onsite, New Brunswick, NJ)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Scientist‑oral formulations for a global pharmaceutical client. The Associate Scientist is responsible for supporting studies to establish oral solid formulations, including execution of laboratory and pilot plant work, design of experimental formulation studies, and material characterization and formulation testing. This is a 40‑hour‑per‑week, 12‑month contract (extensions possible), 100% onsite at the client’s office in New Brunswick, NJ. The position is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee.

Responsibilities

• Conduct development activities related to developing oral formulations
• Conduct oral product batch processing, material characterization and formulation testing
• Design and optimize formulation using design of experience approach

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in oral formulation development and processing
• Knowledge of oral product processing – blending, tableting, encapsulation, etc.
• Experience in oral formulation preparation and testing techniques preferred
• Knowledge of data trending and tracking, including use of statistical analysis software a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred)

Compensation: $32/hr. – $35.56/hr.
