Associate Scientist, Immunology & Inflammation
About the role
Regeneron is seeking an Associate Scientist in the field of Allergy to join a highly collaborative Immunology & Inflammation team. This individual will support a broad pipeline by executing in vivo experiments in mice as well as in vitro assays. The role is ideal for someone who prefers working in a team-driven environment, possesses strong organizational skills, and communicates openly and frequently with their manager and team members.
Responsibilities
- Work with mice, demonstrating proper handling and care, general surgical techniques, and the collection of blood and tissue samples
- Perform cell culture and conduct in vitro experiments
- Maintain lab and equipment, order supplies/reagents, and ensure a safe, effective, and efficient working environment
- Develop new methods or technologies and troubleshoot to advance projects
- Maintain state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and ensure accurate and complete record keeping
Requirements
- BS/MS with at least 1-4 years of experience in allergy, asthma, or immunology
- Proven experience in tissue culture (maintenance of transformed and primary cells), cell-based assays, flow cytometry, ELISA, and MSD
- Proven training in the proper handling and care of mice, general surgical techniques, and the collection of blood and tissue samples (highly desired)
- Basic computer skills and experience collecting and analyzing biological data
- Experience with GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, SoftMax Pro, and Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) Workbench software (preferred)

Pay
Salary Range (annually): $70,300.00 - $110,100.00 (for jobs in Canada).
This role is required to be performed onsite. Background checks may be conducted as part of the recruitment process in accordance with local laws.
