Associate Researcher- Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology
About the role
The Associate Researcher is an entry‑level laboratory research position responsible for conducting routine and standardized experiments using techniques specific to the assigned research project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or a senior researcher. This individual assists in the interpretation of research outcomes and may be responsible for lab and clerical support, including analyzing and assisting in interpreting research outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, conduct routine and standardized experiments using appropriate research techniques specific to the subject matter of the research project.
- Analyze and assist in interpreting laboratory results.
- Perform assays to support research studies.
- Maintain the laboratory environment and assist in the upkeep of appropriate inventory; may include ordering supplies.
- Log and test samples; prepare and submit laboratory materials and specimens for shipment.
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field preferred, or a combination of relevant research experience and education.
- 0–2 years of research or laboratory experience.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $17 – $34.12 per hour. Actual compensation depends on experience, education, and operational need.
