Associate Research Professor: Pullias Center for Higher Education

About the role

The USC Pullias Center for Higher Education seeks a research professor to manage large-scale research and service projects and translate data into actionable solutions for policymakers and institutions. The research professor will oversee and manage the USC College Advising Corps, a project with an annual $3 million budget and over 30 staff, requiring significant oversight, management, and regular fundraising. The position will also involve obtaining grants to conduct studies of the College Advising Corps and working on similar projects related to the Pullias Center’s mission of college access.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct higher education research studies and projects.
• Write grant proposals, execute service agreements, and solicit gifts for research and projects.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in higher education.
• Deep knowledge of higher education literature.

Pay

Annual base salary range: $130,000–$160,000.
