About the role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interview with many of the world's leading legal practitioners and law firms, analyze and assess qualitative and quantitative research data about significant legal matters worldwide, build expertise and forge connections within the international legal market, identify and investigate new and emerging legal trends and areas of specialism, build knowledge about the business of law, including how law firms and lawyers grow and develop their practices, and help evolve our research methodology to accurately reflect the global legal landscape, including using professional AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Conducting research into international legal services markets through face-to-face and virtual interviews, by email and online
• Assessing research results to compile rankings of the top legal practitioners
• Presenting findings as succinct, engaging and accurate written copy
• Identifying trends and developments in the legal markets we cover
• Generating new research leads and content ideas for the reports
• Evolving our research methodology to produce as comprehensive and accurate reflections of the legal market as possible

Requirements

Research and writing experience
Strong verbal communication and interviewing skills, and comfort speaking with high-level professionals
Facility with data and databases (full training will be given on our systems)
Strong organizational skills
Excellent command of written English
Experience using MS Office suite
