About the Role
The Associate Recruiting Senior Coordinator – Lateral Associates is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team. This role will oversee the recruitment and hiring of top talent for all associate-level positions, collaborating with the Associate Recruiting Manager to develop and implement strategies for lateral associate recruitment. Based in the New York office, this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end processing of applications and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare, analyze, and present marketing materials and reports for stakeholders, while representing the firm at recruiting events.
- Manage relationships with search firms and external vendors.
- Supervise and train coordinators, assistants, and interns to support hiring efforts.
- Develop and manage recruitment budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
- Promote effective work practices, teamwork, and respect among co-workers.
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in legal recruitment or professional services.
Skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels and lead teams, with a customer-service focus.
- Advanced organizational and analytical skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, handle multiple deadlines, and supervise others to ensure compliance and accuracy, while using independent judgment for decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Office, applicant tracking systems, interview platforms, and other necessary software, with the ability to undertake large projects, develop alternative methods, and implement solutions.

Pay
USD $100,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 per year, with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
