Associate Quality Planning Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing customer documentation to ensure requirements are understood and communicated to the appropriate teams.
  • Support the development of quality verification plans by helping outline inspection steps and requirements.
  • Work with internal teams to gather information needed for inspection planning and quality checks.
  • Help collect and organize data (such as cycle times) to support quality and process improvements.
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional reviews to learn quality processes and provide input.
  • Assist in aligning inspection plans with engineering drawings and CAD outputs.
  • Support the Inspection team by helping update and maintain quality documentation.
  • Provide input on quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

An Associate Degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not required. Training in quality management systems is beneficial.

Skills

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
