About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing social-first campaigns that promote travel deals and production content across various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and more. They will also adapt newsletters and website/blog content into engaging platform-native formats such as Reels, carousels, short videos, and stories. The position requires curiosity in experimenting with content formats to improve engagement, traffic, and conversions, as well as resourcefulness in leveraging user-generated content to enrich campaigns and boost authenticity.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute social media campaigns promoting travel deals and production content across multiple platforms.
• Adapt newsletters and website/blog content into engaging platform-native formats such as Reels, carousels, short videos, and stories.
• Experiment with content formats to improve engagement, traffic, and conversions.
• Leverage user-generated content to enrich campaigns and enhance authenticity.
• Support the Production, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
• Manage multiple social media projects, deadlines, and daily posting schedules.
• Appear on camera and host short-form and long-form video content for Travelzoo's social media channels.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have 2–5 years of hands-on social media experience in travel, lifestyle, or digital content. They should be passionate about travel and lifestyle content, with a strong attention to storytelling and trends. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a proactive and reliable approach, strong organizational skills, and a sense of urgency.

• A degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
