Associate Psychotherapist

About the role

This position involves conducting mental health evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group psychotherapy (including telemedicine), and coordinating care with healthcare teams and outside agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments
• Deliver goal-oriented therapy
• Manage crisis situations
• Refer patients as needed
• Participate in staff development and quality improvement activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work
• Appropriate licensure or credentials across multiple states
• Basic Life Support certification
• Licensure eligibility and supervision towards independent practice
• Completion of specific training modules

Skills

• Treatment planning
• Diagnosis (DSM-V TR)
• Crisis intervention
• Practice management in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience providing therapy during graduate training
• Crisis intervention experience
• CBT and DBT experience
• Experience working with complex populations (e.g., eating disorders, personality disorders)
