Associate Therapist

Third Space · Arizona, United States · 5 days ago
RemoteRemoteHealthcareFull-time

About the role

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare. We're looking for passionate Associate Therapists to provide telehealth therapy to the Medicaid population. We handle the administrative side — billing, insurance, and credentialing — so you can focus on care.

Why clinicians work with us

  • Complete flexibility: You set your own hours and availability, decide which referrals to take, and build the caseload that works for you.
  • Administrative support: We handle insurance, billing, and credentialing, and clients book into the availability you set.
  • Robust referral network: Build a diverse caseload through our connections with insurers, universities, and community providers.
  • Supervision support: We'll help match you with an independently licensed supervisor in our practice, at no cost to you, so you can keep accruing hours toward full licensure.
  • Remote practice model: Enjoy the independence of private practice with the backing of a group — from wherever you work.
  • Paid per session: You're paid for the clinical work you deliver, at a competitive rate.
  • Meaningful work: Make a real difference for Medicaid members and help close gaps in access to care.

Requirements

  • A valid LAC or LMS license in good standing in the state of Arizona
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, with at least 6 months of hands-on therapy or assessment experience
  • Your own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
  • Comfort with EHR systems and other digital tools
  • A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, plus your own computer and reliable internet, for confidential virtual sessions
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and additional languages are a plus

Skills

  • A solid grasp of mental health diagnoses
  • Knowledge of crafting effective, personalized treatment plans
  • A collaborative spirit to work alongside clients in achieving their goals
  • Skill in conducting thorough assessments to inform care strategies
