Associate Project Manager V

Responsibilities

• Cook up daily project activities across multiple initiatives to keep schedules, deliverables, and dependencies aligned.
• Keep project records, status updates, action logs, and governance materials up-to-date to support accurate reporting and team visibility.
• Organize meetings by creating agendas, capturing key discussion points, documenting decisions, and following up on next steps.
• Monitor progress in project tracking systems like JIRA, ensuring tasks, risks, issues, and milestones are current and clearly documented.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical partners to align requirements, understand scope, and ensure delivery timing.
• Share updates with stakeholders on project health, emerging concerns, and important decisions in a clear and timely manner.
• Support governance processes by preparing reporting materials, escalating blockers, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Drive accountability across cross-functional teams by tracking commitments and completing outstanding deliverables.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in project coordination, entry-level project management, business analysis support, or a comparable project-focused role.
• Working knowledge of project planning, progress tracking, status reporting, risk identification, and issue escalation practices.
• Experience maintaining project documentation, logs, and reporting artifacts in a structured and accurate manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders in a remote working environment.
• Experience leading meetings independently, recording outcomes, and ensuring action items are completed.
• Hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA to manage tickets, monitor timelines, and track delivery progress.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working Eastern Time Zone hours.
• Exposure to Agile methods, insurance-related projects, Azure, API development, or AI-enabled initiatives is a plus.
