About the role
This position is based out of our Fridley, MN office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee total construction and design effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, National Electric Code, budget, and schedule
- Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project including, but not limited to: General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen and union officials
- Authorize and/or approve all project staff transactions including choice of superintendent, general foremen, foremen, staff volume and wages
- Provide directions to planning, scheduling and engineering functions
- Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals
- Review and approve purchase requisitions, payment approvals, sending invoices, and changing order requests
- Affords assistance in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensures that all OSHA requirements are met
- Ensures that all company client and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret the policies
- Maintains a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects
- Provides directions to planning, scheduling and engineering functions
- Responsible for customer maintenance and other sales and marketing

Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or IBEW Apprentice Training Certificate or equivalent in job experience
- 1-2 years of electrical field experience
- Experience in heavy industrial settings preferred. Includes power generation, oil & gas, mining, agricultural and manufacturing
- Knowledge of medium voltage, controls, and instrumentation systems preferred
- Experience with instrumentation loop drawings and P&ID's
- General understanding of heavy industrial construction
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code
- Strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Temporary relocation to jobsite as required
- Experience with Accubida plus
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus

Pay
$65,000 – $88,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time position.
