The Associate Project Manager partners with Project Managers and agency departments to manage projects, serving as a strategic problem solver and trusted partner who collaborates across functions to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Assist in basic project planning and execution of work. Learn how to obtain a clear understanding of client expectations and rules of engagement. Develop skills to build actionable project plans and vet through key team members.
- Meeting Management: Attend and schedule internal meetings, including kickoff, internal review, regroup, and status. Take notes and provide recaps and next steps to attendees.
- Workflow / Process: Understand and advocate for the workflow process and each team member’s role and responsibility within the workflow. Review action orders (AOs) to ensure a clear and executable direction is provided. Lead the online routing of projects, while ensuring quality assurance at each step. Maintain the daily hot sheet.
- Communication: Provide constant communication in person, via email, IM, phone, etc., to meet client expectations and deliverables. Advocate for the team while monitoring delivery dates. Hold proactive, positive, and good communications with multiple team members in varying departments. Provide alternative solutions to ensure the project stays on track.
- Growth and Advancement Opportunities: Build skillset to be the project lead on a set of accounts. Review and input on Statement of Work (SOW). Research process and industry practices. Identify and share best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Other Required: Proficient in MS Office. May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays.
- Preferred: 0 to 2 years’ work experience in project management or in a coordinator capacity.

Pay
Reasonable estimate of the current range: $53,500 USD - $66,900 USD.
