Associate Project Manager - Electrical Construction

About the role

This position is based in our office in Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Project Manager in the overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project or direct smaller size projects under supervision.
• Assist in the total construction and design effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external members on the project, including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Authorize and/or approve all project staffing, including choice of Superintendent, General Foremen, and Foremen.
• Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
• Aids the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests.
• Aids the Project Manager with the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensures compliance with OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 0-1 year of construction and/or project experience OR knowledge of construction methods.
• Project Managed training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
• Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Willingness to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
• Experience with Accubida plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.
