About the role
This position is based in our Shamokin Dam, PA office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the total construction and design effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project, including, but not limited to, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen.
- Absorb overall bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss, and consequently carry the authority appropriately, and provide technical and engineering support as required by the project assigned.
- Avoid project staffing including, but not limited to, choice of superintendent, general foremen, and foremen.
- Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
- Avoid purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests.
- Avoid implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensuring that all OSHA requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 0-1 year of construction management and/or project experience or knowledge of construction methods.
- Project Managed training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
- Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Must be willing to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
- Experience with Accubid a plus.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.
Qualifications
Salary Range $55,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Vehicle allowance may be provided based on travel frequencies to project sites.
