Associate Project Manager, Civil Engineering - Land Development

Responsibilities

• Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Project Managers, assisting in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing preliminary and final site plans and construction documents.
• Data Maestro: Analyze existing site conditions using project survey data, examining legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Lead and assist junior staff, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of project-based tasks, and nurture the next generation's talents.
• Tech Guru: Prepare a variety of reports, opinions, and recommendations, including hydrology/hydraulic studies, project schedules, and storm sewer reports.
• Construction Support: Provide essential construction-related services and direct junior team members, handling tasks such as permit applications and quantity estimates.
• Engineering Software Whiz: Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software packages, ensuring assignments are completed on time and within budget.
• Future-Ready: Develop Project Manager skills through training and mentoring, with potential to grow into a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• PE Required
• Experience managing projects including client interfacing
• Commercial private development industry experience required
• Six (6) plus years of related experience
• Able to make frequent site visits in different states
