FINANCIAL ENTERPRISE ENGAGEMEN (UA-FEE-IUBLA) The Associate, Organizational Change Management (Financial Enterprise Engagement) will support the broader finance organization supporting change management for multiple projects. The projects include: 1) Project Horizon - the Indiana University Financial Transformation Initiative to modernize IU's overall financial operations and systems to align them with the needs of a multi-billion dollar, public higher education institution with multiple R1 campuses, 2) Anaplan IU Finance's initiative to implement a new budgeting software and the associated streamlining of our budgeting processes and reporting and 3) Procurement Transformation the initiative to take key findings from our procurement review to support the implementation. These projects will help modernize Indiana University's financial process, structure, and systems to strengthen the financial health of IU now and in the future. This position is housed within the VPCFO organization and reports directly to the Associate Vice President of Financial Enterprise Engagement. Department-Specific Responsibilities Designs and executes end-to-end change management strategies guiding stakeholders through awareness, adoption, and long-term ownership to drive cultural alignment across transformation initiatives.In partnership with VPCFO Communications, UCM, and external consultants, create tailored communication plans, leadership talking points, and messaging that clearly articulate the scope, technology shifts, and business rationale (the What and Why) behind project goals.Conducts stakeholder impact assessments to identify risks, manage resistance, and build strong working relationships across Indiana University campuses and central administrative units.Develops and delivers targeted training programs that equip campus users to comfortably navigate new platforms, tools, and processes.Facilitates project committees, working groups, and external vendor interactions to ensure cross-functional alignment, secure buy-in, and navigate institutional governance workflows.Defines project scope, goals, and key deliverables while providing regular status, governance, and decision-making updates to the Core Team and Executive Management. General Responsibilities Manages large projects of the most complex nature, from start to finish, ensuring on time completion within budget.Analyzes, tracks, forecasts, and reports on project metrics and shortfalls.Communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance; supervises and trains project staff as needed.Develops and maintains project schedules, goals, and communication.Matrix manages teams to develop, evaluate, and revise project processes.Collaborates with other departments to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time frames.Participates in client meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications.Provides guidance and support to less experienced peers. EDUCATION Required Bachelor's degree in relevant field (preferably in finance, accounting, data analytics, information systems or related field) Preferred Advanced degree (MBA, or related discipline) Required WORK EXPERIENCE 5 years of relevant experience Preferred 5 years Organization Change Management field experience, finance, compliance, audit, operational planning, or related experienceProven excellence in organizational change managementHigher education, public sector, or governmental organization experience strongly preferredExperience managing IT implementation, ideally in a finance function. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
