Evaluates, Determines, and Drives Program Management Activities
Completes, with limited oversight, assignments in support of one or more weapon, product/service, or reimbursable program.
- Evaluates, determines, and drives program management activities to manage one or more moderately complex program or portfolio
- Provides knowledgeable input to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to technical issues
Financial Planning and Monitoring
Applies program management and financial standards to the development of cost and schedule frameworks for projects and program elements.
- Assists in the financial planning, monitoring, scheduling, preparation, and release of technical/schedule information required for program/project planning
- Performs some technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors for a program or portfolio
Collaboration and Mentorship
Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units and external customers.
- Guides and mentors lower-level Associate Program Managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, business, or program management
Other Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
