About the role
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of plastic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include education of medical students, residents and microsurgical fellows.
- Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care of patients.
- Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited plastic surgery residency program and a microsurgical fellowship.
- Primary focus on breast reconstruction.
- Position will be based in Philadelphia at Pennsylvania Hospital with potential outpatient sites in suburban NJ or PA.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Candidate must be board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).
