About the role
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of obstetrics & gynecology and maternal fetal medicine with a focus on prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. The preferred candidate will be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or hold equivalent certification.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic education of medical students, residents and fellows.
- Clinical responsibilities may include activities centering on prenatal diagnosis and counseling, fetal surgical interventions and the management and delivery of pregnancies complicated by congenital anomalies.
