About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking a fellowship trained, board certified, academic Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgeon.
Responsibilities
- Develop the Keck Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery practice, including outreach and shaping service-line growth (clinical protocols, referral relationships, education/outreach)
- Perform advanced hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures (e.g., advanced hysterectomy, myomectomy, excision of endometriosis, lysis of adhesions, adnexal surgery)
- Office-based procedures and evidence-based medical management
- Collaborate on care pathways, ERAS protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
- Teach and train future gynecologists
- Conduct and assist in research projects
- Mentor trainees
Requirements
- MD degree with completion of a 4-year ACGME accredited Ob/Gyn residency
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery
- Comfort with advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery (da Vinci)
