About the role

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Qualifications

  • M.D. degree
  • Board-certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine
  • Expertise in Neuromuscular Ultrasound and/or Autonomic expertise
  • Mid-career applicants are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Teaching neuromuscular fellows, residents, and medical students during their rotations in the EMG lab, outpatient clinic, and inpatient services
  • Providing lectures on topics pertinent to neuromuscular diseases and the Department of Neurology throughout the year
  • Seeing neuromuscular patients in the outpatient clinic and performing EMGs
  • Interpreting NM ultrasounds and Autonomic studies (if qualified)

Special interest in CMT is encouraged.
