About the role

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Neuromuscular Ultrasound and/or Autonomic expertise. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants must be board-certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities may include teaching neuromuscular fellows, residents, and medical students during their rotations in the EMG lab, outpatient clinic, and inpatient services.
  • The NM faculty will also provide lectures on topics pertinent to neuromuscular diseases and the Department of Neurology throughout the year.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include seeing neuromuscular patients in the outpatient clinic and perform EMGs;
  • Special interest in CMT is encouraged.
  • If qualified, they may interpret NM ultrasounds and Autonomic studies.

Requirements

Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants must be board-certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine.

Qualifications

Expertise is required in the specific area of Neuromuscular Ultrasound and/or Autonomic expertise.
