About the role

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities may include clinical supervision of residents, fellows, and advanced practice trainees in the evaluation and management of patients who are eligible for and/or status-post organ transplants and didactic teaching about transplant psychiatry.
• Clinical responsibilities may include evaluation and management of patients who are eligible for and/or status-post organ transplants in the hospital and ambulatory setting.
• Serving as a collaborating physician for advanced practice psychiatric providers.
• Participation in transplant selection committee meetings.

Requirements

• Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
• Psychiatry and consultation/liaison psychiatry board certifications are required.
