Associate Production Scientist - Analytical Development

Your Role

We are seeking an Associate Production Scientist - Analytical Development to perform analytical testing in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute established analytical methods in support of process development or site production
• Transfer external or internal analytical methods into site QC / analytical development
• Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation
• Basic analytical method development supporting site operational needs
• Analytical representation at project meetings
• Maintain databases, document work for internal / external communication of experimental outcomes

Shift/Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline
• OR High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of work experience in a chemical production, laboratory or chemical engineering role

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in an industrial or academic chemical environment
• Experience with chemical measurement technologies such as IC, HPLC, GC, NMR, IR and wet chemistry
• Experience with safe chemical handling
• Experience with ISO or GMP requirements
• Experience with writing experimental procedures and reports

Pay

$30/hr - $47/hr. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
