Associate Production Controller

Responsibilities

• Supports the organization’s goals by managing and coordinating material needs in the factory to keep production moving.
• Safeguards all program builds by collaborating with each program Production Control Scheduler to resolve manufacturing order delays.
• Finalizes product staging and accurately queues the production plan to drive on-time-to-start manufacturing orders.
• Resolves MES and Costpoint issues on behalf of the Production Control team.
• Maintains COTS material forward stock supply on the floor to cover manufacturing incidentals.
• Maintains oversight of build through the factory and ensures appropriate actions/escalations are taken to prevent production line-down scenarios.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Traffic, and Contract Administration; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and request for shipping orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree & 0 years of experience, OR 4 years of related experience in production planning and scheduling and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MRP required.
• Experience in Costpoint and MES a plus.
• Excellent math and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point, Visio).

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $49,400.00 - $74,200.00
