Associate Product Manager

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES Conducts Market/Product trend research (inspiration, function price) in support of new development projects in Forward Plan. Supports and participates in preparation and presentation of project deliverables required by NPD Stage Gate process. Ensures NPD initiatives are communicated to cross functional departments as necessary throughout organization (beyond 'gated' process). Assists with Product Portfolio management by updating the Value Profile support data and maintaining visual display of Promote/Support/Retire product, by category and Value Profile tier as required. Develops and maintains an understanding of core product offering. Works with corporate purchasing and quality control to understand and resolve product concerns negatively impacting customer experience. Collaborates with Design & D&E team to incorporate new / updated function and or features into new developmentsTravel Required (10%) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
