About the role

We're seeking an Associate Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you'll play a key role in managing procurement and strategic sourcing activities for indirect categories within Ocean Spray. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing category strategies, negotiating contracts, optimizing cost savings, and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategies for assigned categories to improve cost effectiveness and supplier service levels while managing risk.
  • Execute category sourcing strategies, including RFIs and RFPs, and develop selection criteria.
  • Drive optimal supplier selections in collaboration with cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders on program implementation and ongoing supplier management.
  • Conduct supplier negotiations and contracting and actively seek opportunities to streamline business processes.

Requirements

  • Mechanical engineering or related field with manufacturing experience (consumer/food/beverage preferred).
  • Experience in contract negotiation and contract development.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and S2P systems (e.g., Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa).
  • Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or University Degree.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
