About The Role
DESRI seeks a talented and highly motivated individual to join its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) team as an associate or manager (title commensurate with experience). This role provides the opportunity to participate in the development, acquisition, long-term operation, and management of renewable energy assets in an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging working environment.
What You’ll Do
- Developing and maintaining strategic relationships and negotiating supply and service agreements across multiple equipment types, with particular emphasis on O&M services, long-term service agreements (LTSAs), warranties, and performance guarantees
- Sustaining procurement decisions that consider operability, maintainability, availability, and total cost of ownership across the project lifecycle
- Conducting international market research and supporting operational risk mitigation, including supply chain, regulatory, and performance risks that impact long-term asset management
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across executive leadership, legal, development, finance, construction, operations, and asset management teams to ensure alignment between EPC execution and long-term asset strategy
- Helping standardize procurement strategies, scopes of work, and commercial terms that enable efficient handoff from construction to operations
Qualifications
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- A demonstrated history of academic and professional achievement, with at least four years of relevant experience, is required.
- Experience interfacing with or supporting O&M providers, asset management teams, or long-term service strategies is strongly preferred.
- Highly collaborative individuals with well-developed written and verbal communication skills, organizational acumen, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects will excel in this role.
- The ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately, identify, track, and communicate project plan steps and actions, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet fixed deadlines and objectives is critical.
- Coursework or experience in finance, economics, or project management, and/or a PMP certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma, is a plus.
Pay
The expected annual base salary for this position is $110,000–$150,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus (guaranteed in the first year of hire), medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, paid time off, wellness reimbursement, family-building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
