Associate Process Engineer

About the role

Join us at our Jackson, TN plant, where we are seeking an Associate Process Engineer to lead transformative initiatives that optimize processes, reduce waste, and elevate productivity. You will have the opportunity to work with various team members across Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Finance and more, shaping the future of the Jackson plant by leading projects focused on process improvement utilizing data analytics. Our engineering and process teams are always growing, offering opportunities for advancement as you develop your skillset and expand your knowledge. The role typically runs from 7 am to 4 pm, with shift rotations during the first six months to learn the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities on your assigned shift working towards production goals, sanitation efforts, maintenance requests, managing technicians and the overall budget.
• Possess an owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.
• Lead and demonstrate your people skills as you provide direction and support on various projects to numerous team members.
• Focus on people safety and food safety in all aspects of the operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma/GED with related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes
• Demonstrated supervisory experience managing people
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
• Must have permanent legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship for this role)
