The Denver office of BakerHostetler is seeking a mid-level private wealth associate with 4 or more years of trusts and estates experience. The position includes complex drafting, research, tax analysis, project management, client interaction, gift and estate tax return preparation, and counsel regarding choice of entity (LLC, partnership, S-corp., etc.), formation and governance. With more than 30 Private Wealth attorneys, and more than 70 total tax attorneys, BakerHostetler's Private Wealth Group—and overall Tax Group—are among the legal profession's strongest. BakerHostetler has 18 offices across the United States, and approximately 1,100 lawyers. Qualifications Of The Ideal Candidate Include Experience in the above mentioned areas; Excellent research, written, and oral communication skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments; Strong ability and desire to manage projects and interface with clients; A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school; LL.M. in taxation a plus Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Colorado (or be eligible to waive into Colorado); and Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Why BakerHostetler? Salary The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $225,000 - $260,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, geographic region, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program.
