Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of large-scale Salesforce implementations ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and objectives.
- Translate intricate business processes into technical Salesforce solutions including custom development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components) and integrations using APIs and third-party tools.
- Architect and document solution designs, create blueprints, and perform risk assessments.
- Oversee the development and deployment process, enforce coding standards, and ensure platform security, scalability, and performance.
- Drive data migration, master data management, and integration strategies across Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate solutions, present technical insights, and manage expectations.
- Mentor and guide developers, administrators, and junior architects to foster technical excellence.
- Stay updated with Salesforce new features, conduct proof-of-concept initiatives, and recommend platform optimizations.
- Manage change management, release cycles, testing, and documentation processes.
Requirements
- 11 to 15 years of IT experience with a substantial focus (typically 8 years) on Salesforce architecture, development, or consulting roles.
- Proven track record of leading complex Salesforce projects and integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems such as ERP and financial platforms.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Lightning experience.
- Proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and experience with integration and data migration tools (e.g., Data Loader, Informatica, Dell Boomi).
- Strong knowledge of security models, compliance, single sign-on, and data governance within Salesforce.
- Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Application Architect, Certified System Architect, Platform Developer III, or Consultant certifications are typically required or highly preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Skills
- Experience with CPQ, Field Service, and familiarity with emerging technologies like machine learning integrations.
- Ability to define and enforce development best practices and governance frameworks.
- Capability to analyze business needs and develop strategic roadmaps for digital transformation using Salesforce technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and a strategic mindset to align technology with business outcomes.
