About the role

Saviynt is seeking a software engineer to join the team building the Onboarding and AI Platform. This role involves developing the Pilot Rail, execution wave UIs, policy gap reporting surface, and other components of the shared platform layer. The candidate will work across multiple agent platforms and contribute to foundational solutions using cloud, SAAS, and AI design patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Pilot Rail (human-in-the-loop approval interface for AI-generated plans)
  • Create execution wave UIs (step-by-step progress tracking for multi-day agent workflows)
  • Develop policy gap reporting surface
  • Design and develop connector health APIs
  • Implement IaC template generation endpoints
  • Manage plan envelope
  • Develop approval chain service
  • Contribute to shared platform layer: signed context packet format, plan state machine, Pilot agent panel, and audit log service
  • Work across multiple agent platforms like AWS Bedrock, Google AgentSpace, Salesforce AgentForce
  • Design and build product features end-to-end, from the React component through the API route to the database schema
  • Write clear, testable code and participate in code review
  • Work directly with product managers and designers to refine requirements before writing a line of code
  • Own a feature end-to-end with light guidance

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Staff or Associate Principal level professional software engineering experience, with at least one year building production web applications
  • Comfortable working across the full stack and having a clear preference for writing code that other engineers can read and maintain
  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock) or agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
  • Experience building REST APIs in Python or a comparable language
  • Understanding of HTTP semantics, JWT authentication, and the basics of relational database design
  • Experience with Git in a team environment — branching, pull requests, code review — and understanding why these practices exist
  • Experience deploying code to a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at least once and having a basic understanding of what happens between `git push` and a user seeing your change

Qualifications

  • Solid working knowledge of React and TypeScript
  • Understanding of the human-in-the-loop pattern in agentic systems — specifically, how to design approval gates that are substantive rather than ceremonial
  • Built forms, tables, and multi-step workflows
  • Familiarity with REST API integration from the browser and knowledge of handling loading states, error states, and stale data gracefully
  • Experience with WebSocket or Server-Sent Events for real-time UI updates
  • Experience with identity and access management concepts: SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, JIT access, privileged access management
  • Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or PostgreSQL
  • Exposure to IaC tooling (Terraform, AWS CDK, ARM templates) from a developer perspective — understanding what these templates do is useful context for the PAM work

Skills

  • Experience with AI and Agents to secure AI
  • Experience with CUA agents, various LLM’s, agentic frameworks like ADK, Langchain, among others
  • Experience with cloud, SAAS, and AI design patterns and technologies
  • Experience with security and privacy literacy and awareness training
  • Experience with Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures
