About the role

Saviynt is seeking a software engineer to join the team building the Onboarding and AI Platform. This role involves developing features for the Pilot Rail, execution wave UIs, policy gap reporting, and other shared platform components.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Pilot Rail, execution wave UIs, and policy gap reporting surface.
  • Develop connector health APIs, IaC template generation endpoints, plan envelope management, and the approval chain service.
  • Contribute to the shared platform layer: signed context packet format, plan state machine, Pilot agent panel, and audit log service.
  • Design and develop secure, scalable, multi-tenant software solutions for major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Write clear, testable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Work directly with product managers and designers to refine requirements.
  • Ensure the quality of your own work by writing unit and integration tests, monitoring services, and fixing bugs.
  • Contribute to the team's engineering standards and design discussions.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Staff or Associate Principal level professional software engineering experience, with at least one year building production web applications.
  • Experience working with LLM APIs and agent frameworks.
  • Experience building REST APIs in Python or a comparable language.
  • Understanding of HTTP semantics, JWT authentication, and relational database design.
  • Experience with Git in a team environment.
  • Experience deploying code to a cloud environment.
  • On the frontend, solid working knowledge of React and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with the human-in-the-loop pattern in agentic systems.
  • Experience with forms, tables, and multi-step workflows.
  • Experience with WebSocket or Server-Sent Events.
  • Experience with identity and access management concepts.
  • Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or PostgreSQL.
  • Exposure to IaC tooling from a developer perspective.

Pay

$220,000 - $225,000 annually.
