Associate Principal - Architecture
About the role
Seeking an Associate Principal with 11 to 15 years of experience in Data Architecture specializing in Dimensional Data Modeling, Data Lakehouse Architecture, Databricks and Python to lead enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and robust data architecture frameworks to support enterprise data strategies
- Implement dimensional data modeling techniques to optimize data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
- Architect and manage data lakehouse environments leveraging Databricks and Python for advanced data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions across various platforms and technologies
- Ensure alignment of data architecture with organizational standards, security and compliance requirements
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in data architecture modeling and lakehouse technologies
- Focus on creating maintainable, scalable and high-performance data solutions to meet evolving business needs
- Lead the design, development and deployment of dimensional data models and data lakehouse architectures for complex enterprise data environments
- Drive architectural decisions related to data storage, processing and integration using Databricks and Python
- Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions
- Oversee data governance, security and compliance within data architecture implementations
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior architects and data engineers
- Collaborate closely with data engineering and analytics teams to optimize data pipelines and workflows
- Conduct code reviews, design discussions and prepare comprehensive technical documentation
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation and adoption of best practices within the data architecture practice
Requirements
11 to 15 years of experience in Data Architecture with expertise in Dimensional Data Modeling, Data Lakehouse Architecture, Databricks and Python.
