About the role
The Associate Practice Optimization Partner role focuses on enhancing revenue cycle performance for healthcare organizations through operational process analysis and recommendation delivery.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate revenue cycle operations and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop actionable strategies to enhance performance.
- Assess and analyze operational workflows including registration, scheduling, collections, authorizations, referrals, charge processes, and patient satisfaction.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify operational challenges and develop effective improvement recommendations.
- Prepare and present insights, findings, and recommendations to leadership audiences.
- Collaborate with access, revenue cycle, and operational teams to resolve issues and deliver a high-quality consulting experience.
- Partner with client leaders and internal stakeholders to implement recommendations and support continuous improvement.
- Lead meetings and facilitate discussions while building trusted relationships with clients and team members.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining strong organization and accountability.
- Travel to client sites, temporary offices, or corporate locations when required by business needs.
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, consulting, or practice optimization.
- Strong analytical abilities and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Understanding of physician practice revenue cycle processes and healthcare operational workflows.
- Ability to perform detailed analysis, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions to complex business challenges.
- Experience preparing and manipulating data to support analysis and decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to client leadership and executive audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and work with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Curiosity and openness toward innovation, technology, and process improvement.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Revenue cycle certification (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire, with certification support provided.
