Associate - PJT Park Hill (Private Equity - Distribution)

Responsibilities

• Sustain and expand existing Limited Partner (LP) relationships.
• Develop new LP relationships across the West Coast.
• Understand and navigate LP and General Partner (GP) relationships to maximize commercial impact and influence key stakeholders.
• Anticipate LP base needs and use knowledge to direct both sales and sourcing efforts.
• Provide advice to LP clients on market trends and strategies beyond PJT Park Hill mandates.
• Play an integral role in the lifecycle of complex transactions, from negotiation to closing.
• Collaborate with existing project management teams to ensure effective communication and improve distribution results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
• 5-10 years of fundraising experience, particularly with private equity.
• Strong experience in managing capital raises and building client relationships.
• Ability to drive multiple sales processes simultaneously.
• Demonstrated track record of building client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of the markets and competitive landscape.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A self-starter with the ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong work ethic and genuine passion for excellence.
• Results-oriented with personal and professional integrity of the highest order.
• An entrepreneurial outlook with the ability to take initiative and collaborate both internally and externally.

Pay

Expected annualized base salary of $225,000 to $250,000. Base salary is one component of PJT Partners' compensation structure, which may also include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits.
