Associate Physician Diplomate
About the role
The Division of Hematology-Oncology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital is seeking highly motivated and skilled Associate Physician Diplomates to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of hematology and oncology. We have part-time clinical opportunities available in the following areas:
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for patients with hematologic disorders, including benign and malignant conditions.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized treatment plans.
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring trainees, including fellows and residents.
- Leverage expertise to provide rapid, high-quality recommendations for virtual consultations via the e-referral program.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified in Oncology and/or Hematology through an accredited board, and in possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
- DEA License.
- Demonstrated excellence and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations in a safety-net setting.
- Strong teamwork, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Cantonese.
- Prior experience in safety-net, public, or resource-limited health systems.
- Familiarity with EPIC.

Salary Information
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
