Responsibilities
- Congratulations! You'll be providing service to patients either pre-appointment, during or post-appointment with regular guidance.
- May include inbound/outbound telephone calls, cash management, appointment scheduling, processing of insurance updates, and patient check-in/check-out.
- Position hours are PRN (as needed), weekdays: 7:30am - 7:30pm, weekends: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Requirements
- Customer Service (Novice): Focus on customer needs, anticipate their needs, remain sensitive to customers, respond to customer needs.
- Patient Scheduling (Fundamental Awareness): Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and other office visits using various computer systems.
- Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Receive and record patient information.
- Medical Terminology & Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Comprehend medical terminology and documentation in an office or surgical setting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive first impressions.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage a reception area and maintain its orderliness.
- Proactive communication with patients regarding appointment updates.
