About the role
This position is for judicial clerks looking to join Fish immediately following the completion of their clerkship. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in science, engineering, mathematics, or closely related fields, preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or advanced degrees in life sciences. They should have 2+ years of patent litigation experience and be an active member of the state bar with compliance with CLE requirements.

Requirements
- You have experience in wireless or 5G patent litigation cases.
- You have a strong background in computer science, electrical engineering, or closely related field.
- You have 3-5 years of patent litigation experience.
- You have an active membership in the state bar and compliance with CLE requirements.
- You have superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
- You thrive when using your analytical skills to conduct complex and detailed analysis of legal matters.
- You enjoy communicating with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.
Qualifications
- You have a PhD in Chemistry or closely related field and small molecule and/or pharmaceutical experience.
- You have at least 1-3 years of experience as a Prosecution Attorney.
- You have a strong background in either Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- You have strong English and Japanese language skills.
- You have 2 plus years of patent prosecution experience.
- You are registered before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- You have a strong background in computer science or closely related field.
- You have 1 - 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
- You are a qualified German and/or European Patent Attorney.

Pay
- The salary range for this position is $225,000 - $310,000.
- The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and experience, and will be adjusted for flex-time schedules.
