Qualifications
- Meets the character and leadership qualifications for pastors/elders described in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Peter 5:1–4).
- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a life marked by spiritual maturity, integrity, and humility.
- Wholehearted alignment with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, The Danvers Statement, & The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.
- An undergraduate degree. Preferably with some theological training.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relational skills.
- Experience: Preferably some church staff experience.
Responsibilities
- Equip and lead volunteer teams for children and youth ministries.
- Partner with and resource parents in the discipleship of their children.
- Develop and implement a plan to raise up disciples in the next generation in our church and community.
