Associate Pastor – Students

Qualifications

• Meets the character and leadership qualifications for pastors/elders described in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Peter 5:1–4).
• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a life marked by spiritual maturity, integrity, and humility.
• Wholehearted alignment with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, The Danvers Statement, & The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.
• An undergraduate degree. Preferably with some theological training.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relational skills.
• Experience: Preferably some church staff experience.

Responsibilities

• Equip and lead volunteer teams for children and youth ministries.
• Partner with and resource parents in the discipleship of their children.
• Develop and implement a plan to raise up disciples in the next generation in our church and community.
