Hardeetown Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a passionate, Christ-centered leader to serve as our next Associate Pastor for Students (Grades pre-K to 12). We are looking for a servant-hearted minister who loves Jesus, believes in the power of the Gospel, and desires to invest deeply in students and their families.

  • Committed to the doctrines of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000

Qualifications

  • Prefer Bible college graduate and/or seminary, or equivalent of at least four years of ministry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships across generations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A heart for community outreach and local ministry engagement
  • Understanding of childhood and adolescent development and student ministry dynamics
  • A desire to help students authentically live out their faith in everyday life

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, vision, and oversight for the student ministry
  • Teach and disciple students through weekly Bible studies and worship opportunities
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and encourage adult and student volunteers
  • Plan and lead mission projects, outreach events, and evangelistic opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and church members
  • Assist the Senior Pastor in carrying out the ministries of the church as needed, including preaching, visitation, administration, and pastoral care
  • Coordinate and communicate student ministry activities through regular calendars and reports, newsletters, and social media
  • Pursue ongoing ministry training and professional development
