Associate/Partner Dentist

Skills and Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• State licensure to practice dentistry
• Valid CPR Certification
• Proficient in dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Knowledge of dental office systems and protocols

Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues
• Utilize X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations
• Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers
• Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and advise them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures
• Perform oral cancer screenings
• Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required
• Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use
• Take impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures
• Serve as a trusted advisor to a dynamic team of professionals
• Other duties as assigned
