About the role

The Associate PAM Security Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the security of sensitive information and systems at HCA Healthcare. This position involves assisting in the implementation and support of privileged access management solutions, collaborating with teams to integrate these solutions, and participating in comprehensive risk assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the deployment and configuration of PAM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure, processes, and applications.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of PAM tools and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for PAM solutions, including troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Contribute to comprehensive risk assessments and security audits, identifying vulnerabilities related to privileged access.
  • Document and communicate PAM related initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address complex security challenges and develop integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems preferred
  • Five or more years of experience in Identity and Access or System Engineering
  • PAM-specific Certifications (CISSP, PAM-related)
  • Cybersecurity knowledge
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts
  • Service and Quality Excellence skills
  • Lead and Develop Others skills
  • Communicate with Impact skills
  • Drive Execution and Financial Results skills

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of privilege access management concepts, principles, and practices including those for on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Experience configuring and managing PAM solutions, such as password vaults, session recording, and access control systems.
  • Understanding of IAM concepts such as user lifecycle management, access control standards and best practices, provisioning / de-provisioning, secrets management, access management, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on.
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD pipelines focused on security automation.
