Associate or Professor in Urology
About the role
The Department of Urology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is currently recruiting a research faculty member with a PhD, MD or MD/PhD for a tenure-track Associate, or Professor Position. The successful candidate will have a recognized focus on Urologic Oncology. The primary appointments will be in the Department of Urology and the NCI designated, Markey Cancer Center.
Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative, rigorous, grant-funded research
- Engage in scholarly activities (peer-reviewed publications, presentations, etc.)
- Support the broader research effort within the College of Medicine and UK
- Support the College’s mission and goals to increase research efforts
- Aid faculty and residents in developing research protocols in the college
- Mentor support of faculty and residents’ research efforts
Requirements
- Established track record of federal funding
Qualifications
- PhD, MD or MD/PhD
