About the role
The Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track or tenured position at the level of Associate or Full Professor.
We seek highly motivated individuals who will:
- Deliver high-quality education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Establish and maintain innovative, extramurally funded research programs that complement the Department’s existing strengths.
Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the undergraduate, professional and graduate programs of the College of Pharmacy.
Develop a nationally recognized program of research.
Support the service mission of the College of Pharmacy.
Requirements
A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, bioengineering, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience as a tenure-track Assistant Professor (or equivalent).
At least three years of postdoctoral training.
A strong record of research, scholarship, and instruction that is commensurate with the stage in their professional career and aligned with the areas of research and scholarship associated with this position.
Qualifications
- A background that includes leading funded team-based research is preferred.
