About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Work within the practice of a Subleasing Doctor, operating under their professional discretion and agreement. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Enjoy professional autonomy to care for patients. - Benefit from flexible scheduling options, including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. - Work in a fully furnished office equipped with a full suite of OD equipment. - Have access to automated online appointment booking and patient recall systems. - Optionally utilize Revolution EHR software and benefit from tech and pre-testing support.

Requirements

- Hold a current license to practice optometry in the state of New York. - Possess a strong background in optometry and a passion for providing quality eye care. - Be willing to negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Maintain professional autonomy and operate under the Subleasing Doctor's professional discretion.

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Current license to practice optometry in the state of New York. - Experience in providing comprehensive eye care services.

Skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule. - Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) software, if applicable.

Pay

- Compensation is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. - You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
