About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Operate within the scope of practice agreed upon with the Subleasing Doctor. - Enjoy professional autonomy to care for patients. - Have full scope of practice based on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor. - Work flexible schedules including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. - Work in a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment. - Some offices may offer use of the Revolution EHR software and have tech and pre-testing support. - Utilize an automated online appointment booking and patient recall system.

Requirements

- Current license to practice optometry in the state of Louisiana. - Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Experience in providing comprehensive eye care services. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Optometry. - Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Current license to practice optometry in the state of Louisiana.

Skills

- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay

- Compensation is determined by multiple factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. - You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
