About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

• Work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
• Operate the optical dispensary while the Affiliated Doctor provides high quality optometric care and service to patients.
• Care for patients with full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
• Offer flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule.
• Utilize a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment.
• Have access to automated online appointment booking and patient recall system.

Requirements

• Must be an Independent Doctor of Optometry.
• Must be affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica).
• Must have professional autonomy to care for patients.
• Must have full scope of practice predicated on professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
• Must be willing to negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing doctor.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid medical license.
• Must have experience in optometry.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including part-time commitments.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.

Pay

Pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
